So - my mom and I went shopping yesterday and I bought these completely ridiculous and rather expensive shoes. They are five inch pumps (I'm already pretty tall). I wore them to work today and got made fun of by all the unenlightened males in the office who thoughtlessly suggested I return them since I was having a bit of a struggle walking. But look how cute they are! I simply cannot return them. Even if I could part with them - which I can't - I don't want to give up so easily. Surely, this walking in freakishly high heels thing can be mastered. And, besides, shoes aren't really about walking, they are about looking adorable. Just hope I don't break my ankles - which is entirely possible.

I can do anything if I have the right shoes ...
