So – I love movies and while I probably have several “top five” films, this week's five favorites (with my favorite lines from each) are . . .
CLASSIC:
Gone With the Wind –
“Well, I guess I've done murder. I won’t think about that today, I’ll think about that tomorrow.”
“Askin' ain't gettin'.”
“WESTERN”:
“WESTERN”:
Wyatt Earp –
“Remember this, all of you. Nothing counts so much as blood. The rest are just strangers.”
“My name is Wyatt Earp. It all ends now.”
ROMANCE:
Sense & Sensibility –
“Love is not love which alters when it alteration finds or bends with the remover to remove. Oh, no! It is an ever fixed mark that looks on tempests and is never shaken.” (this is actually Shakespeare)
“Whatever his past actions, whatever his present course at least you may be certain that he loved you....” “But not enough....not enough.”
DRAMA:
Home for the Holidays –
“That’s a sporty necklace you got there Glady.” “Fruitloops.” “Froo . . .“
“Good evening . . . consult your directory.”
COMEDY:
Fletch –
“No, no, never, never.”
"Are you a cop?" “As far as you know.”
Don't you just LOVE a good movie escape now and then? (Especially when it involves a Clark Gable type who can effortlessly sweep you right off your feet.) Happy Friday!

We try to have Movie Night on Fridays. As much as I enjoy the Disney movies...it will be so fun when we can watch a good grown-up movie as a family. It's been way too long since I saw Fletch!
How about this one from 101 Dalmations.
Rolly: I'm hungry, Mother. I'm hungry.
Perdita: Now Rolly, you've just had your dinner.
Rolly: But I am, just the same. I'm so hungry I could eat a... a whole elephant.
Yeah. Random. I know. But it's such a great line.
