The Longest Day

I am in Australia- unintentionally celebrating 20 years since my first visit to Australia as a missionary....don't do the math, we all know I am old....just keep reading.

The "day" began at 6 pm on Feb 15th when my parents picked me up to take me to the airport and ended at 9 pm on Feb 17th when I finally slept (I did sleep a bit on the plane, but nothing to write home about really).

Here is the photo log of the day:

1- the Qantas A380 jet at LAX- this pic doesn't really do it justice- it's huge!
2- the jet in Melbourne just after landing
3- the incredibly long immigration line
4- me standing in that line
5- me meeting the newest Rechter, baby Jacob, for the first time
6&7- my walk - not a bad view
8- one of the walls in my bedroom - also not a bad view. :)
9- the Rechters

P.S. Sorry if this post doesn't look quite right- it's my first time trying the blogger app on my iPad. The photos may not upload.

Although the photos didn't upload, I found I didn't need them... I could imagine all of them just fine in my mind!! So glad you made it and are there. I can almost feel how you might be feeling.... immerse your whole self and only come back when the inevitable pull of reality forces you to.... until enjoy Heaven on earth as only you would know it!
